DR SUNDEEP DHANOA

Sundeep qualified from GKT(Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’) in 2005 and soon after went to Ipswich, in the Suffolk countryside to complete his vocational training. Working 5 days a week in a well established practice, he learnt the art of working in a team atmosphere while undertaking simple to complex dental procedures.
His dental training continued under world famous lecturers attending conferences in Dublin and at the globally renowned UCLA University in California.
Continuing in the Suffolk area, Sundeep went onto complete another 5 years working as a dental associate. During this period he was fortunate enough to treat patients from children to elderly ages. In 2008 Sundeep completed his Certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry under the guidance of Dr Chris Orr (President of the BACD) and facial rejuvenation treatment under the world specialist Dr Bob Khanna.
Sundeep has a passionate interest in making his patients confident with their smile. As well as cosmetics his interests lie in minimal invasive dentistry. Since becoming established in Dorking, Sundeep has gone onto undertake training in the orthodontic field and has completed his training in 6 month smiles treatment in Washington DC and become a fully accredited provider of Invisalign treatment for short cosmetic orthodontic treatments. Under the care of Ian Hutchinson in complex orthodontic treatments he has now gained considerable experience and he is planning on undertaking further study to enhance his dental career.
So Sundeep’s vision is to be able to provide a facility in Dorking and its surrounding areas where patients can obtain the highest level of care and any work needed can be completed within the practice by a team of skilled professionals and specialists.
Together with Rishi our aim is based on preventative care using evidence based techniques and materials which are conducted with care, consideration and of the highest quality.

DR RISHI PATEL – DENTIST

Rishi graduated from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 2005. He then undertook a post-graduate vocational position based in North London and Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith. Following this, Rishi spent 5 enjoyable years in primary dental care as a general practitioner in West London. During these years Rishi has developed his knowledge further from many of the leading clinicians in the dental profession. Rishi currently also works as a dental practitioner at British Airways headquarters.
Rishi is a friendly, approachable individual who believes in putting his patients’ care and needs first. He understands the importance of listening carefully to his patients’ concerns and requests, and aims to address them professionally. His calm, confident manner helps relax anxious patients and he believes in a step-by-step approach to ease patients gently though their treatment at a pace they feel comfortable with.
Rishi undertakes all aspects of general dentistry, but has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, and frequently performs smile make overs and tooth whitening. He is driven by the satisfaction of his patients once their treatment has been completed, and constantly strives to cater for their every need. He also has a keen interest in endodontics, and oral surgery.
Rishi regularly plays football and squash with friends, and visits his local gym in his spare time. He is a keen football fan, and also enjoys traveling to far and away places. He looks forward to meeting you.
RICHARD J SNOAD – DENTIST

Dr Snoad graduated from Dundee University with a Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery in 1980. He then became a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1992. He later attended the highly reputable Eastman Dental Institute where he received a distinction in Periodontology in 1996. At the same time he attended at the tri-Service Defence Dental Agency of Dental Hygiene where he gained experience in lecturing, referrals and clinical lecturing.
In 1998 Richard gained further recognition when the GDC named him a Periodontics Specialist. Following this, in 2003 he was awarded a fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons.
Richard’s main interest and passion is Periodontology and over the years he has gained a world-renowned reputation as one of the top dentists in this field. He has published a number of research and lectures on Periodontology all over the globe as well as teaching and lecturing in many countries. His current focus is researching Periodontal Risk assessment.
ALIX DAVIES – ENDODONTICS SPECIALIST

Alix graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2005. Among her other prizes and distinctions, she was nominated for the prestigious University of London Gold Medal. After appointments in General Practice and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, she served in the Royal Army Dental Corps, both in England and Germany. Alix attained the rank of Major before leaving to complete Specialist training in Endodontics at King’s College London. She was awarded a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Endodontics with distinction and also attained her Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Alix’s research interests and publications have focused on the use of specialised imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and management of endodontic problems. Her most recent research has involved assessing the outcome of endodontic retreatment. She has presented at National and International Conferences and is also a reviewer for the International Endodontic Journal. Alix also provides Endodontic training to Postgraduates on the MSc course at King’s College London.
Alix will accept referrals for root canal treatment, retreatment and endodontic surgery.
DR SARAB OBERAI – DENTIST

Dr. Sarab Oberai BDS, MFGDP UK, MFDS. RCS Eng, MRCPS Glas, MJDF. RCS Eng, DipImpDent RCS Eng, FFGDP (UK) is a member and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of General Dental Practitioners FFGDP (UK). An examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, Sarab successfully completed his diploma in implant dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2008 and has an MSc in Implants from the University of Leeds. He is also an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons. He successfully completed his diploma in implant dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2008, and has obtained his MSc in Implant Dentistry from The University of Leeds. In addition to this, Dr Oberai is also a fellow of the international congress of oral implantologists and he has been carrying out complex implant and restorative cases for many years. He graduated from Liverpool University in 1989 with scholarship and is now a mentor for the FFGDP (UK) examinations.
CATHY MILES – DENTAL HYGIENIST

Cathy is an experienced dental hygienist with 20 years experience. She trained at Birmingham Dental Hospital and in that time has worked at several dental practices, including working with Specialist Periodontists.
She has been with Old Court House since 2005 and our patients appreciate her encouraging and gentle approach. She is committed to prevention of dental problems and promoting excellent oral health. She lives in Dorking with her husband and 2 teenage children.
POLLY CRAIG – DENTAL HYGIENIST

Polly was initially a dental nurse in Reigate for three years. She decided to further her development and train to become a dental hygienist.
Polly joined the dental team immediately after qualifying from the Eastman Dental Hospital, London in June 2000 and has stayed with us ever since. She is committed to educating our patients to achieve excellent oral health and maintaining a good level of hygiene.
TRACY STEVENSON – PRACTICE MANAGER
Tracy Stevenson joined OCH in 2010 as our Practice Manager. Tracy brought with her years of dental experience and business management. Starting her career in dentistry in 1982, she has worked her way to her present position with a break to marry Martin her husband and raise her two daughters. Tracy enjoys baking, walking and caring for her numerous pets.
MELISSA FIRMAN – DENTAL NURSE

Melissa joined the team at Och in January of this year as a qualified dental nurse of with over 25 years’ experience. She is a very welcome member of the team and brings with her a wealth of dental experience and knowledge, as she also covers our reception and deals with CQC rules and regulations. Melissa enjoys time spent with her husband renovating properties and tinkering with classic cars.
DEBBIE CLARKE – DENTAL NURSE

Debbie began her career as a hairdresser in the family business, later moving on to become a qualified dental nurse. Debby joined us here at Och in 2012 and has become a valued member of our team. Debby is a cheerful and hardworking team member. Debby enjoys travelling with her husband, caring for her cat and is a keen darts player.
ELAINE SIMPSON – RECEPTIONIST
Elaine joined Old Court House Dental Practice in 2007 bringing with her not only dental experience, as she dental nursed on leaving school, moving on to hospital clinics, dispensing hearing aids and fitting spectacles. Her part time position at our practice suits her well as it enables her to spend time with her retired husband. Elaine enjoys interacting with the patients, gardening, reading, eating out and socialising.
